This project served as the External Contracting Agency (ECA) to design and implement a healthcare quality management and accreditation system under a performance-based financing model in Kenya.
Implemented across Kisumu, Kiambu, Kitui, and the informal settlements of Viwandani and Korogocho in Nairobi, the initiative strengthened quality assurance, accreditation, and performance monitoring across participating health facilities.
Standards & Performance Monitoring
Developed standardised protocols and monitoring tools to assess service quality, outputs, and provide actionable feedback.
Facility Quality Improvement
Conducted gap analyses and supported facilities in implementing quality management systems and accreditation requirements.
Digital Data Systems
Developed a web-enabled data management system to support self-assessment, accreditation, and performance monitoring.
