This assignment supports the Ministry of Agriculture, Ethiopia, in strengthening institutional coordination and implementation arrangements under the Productive Safety Net Programme (PSNP V). The project aims to improve programme effectiveness, accountability, and governance by enhancing coordination across federal and regional systems serving vulnerable populations.

Supporting Governance Systems

Reviewed programme frameworks, implementation manuals, MoUs, supervision reports, and institutional arrangements to strengthen programme governance.

Strengthening Coordination Mechanisms

Conducted stakeholder consultations and key informant interviews with government agencies, donors, NGOs, and development partners to assess and enhance coordination.

Improving Operational Excellence

Undertook field assessments to evaluate regional implementation structures, coordination mechanisms, and programme delivery systems.

Shaping Future Roadmaps

Identified global good practices and developed recommendations to strengthen governance, coordination, and implementation for future phases of PSNP.
