National Study on Behaviour and Social Change Communication Capacity Assessment

The project assessed Behaviour and Social Change Communication (BSCC) capacities in Malawi to strengthen community-led approaches that promote positive care practices, increase service uptake, and change social norms. The assessment examined the capacity of key stakeholders across government, NGOs, media, and academia to inform future BSCC programming.

Assessing National BSCC Capacity

Conducting a national capacity assessment of UNICEF partners across government, NGOs, media, and academia to evaluate institutional and technical capabilities.

Undertaking Stakeholder & Systems Analysis

Carrying out stakeholder analysis and mixed-methods research to identify institutional and implementation gaps across child survival, protection, development, and participation.

Informing Capacity Strengthening

Generating evidence and recommendations to strengthen BSCC systems and support more effective community-led behaviour and social change interventions.
