Evaluability Assessment of Nigeria-UNICEF’s Country Program

The project delivered an Evaluability Assessment of the Nigeria Country Programme (2023–2027) to assess the programme's readiness for evaluation and strengthen its strategic design. The assignment reviewed the programme's clarity, coherence, contextual relevance, and evaluability while identifying opportunities to improve equity, results measurement, and evidence-based programming for children in Nigeria.

Assessing Programme Evaluability

Evaluated the programme's objectives, coherence, alignment with the country context, data availability, and integration of gender, disability, and human and child rights considerations.

Reviewing Programme Strategy Notes

Assessed the Programme Strategy Notes across the Health, Nutrition, WASH, Education, Child Protection, and Social Policy pillars to strengthen programme logic and results frameworks.

Strengthening Strategic Planning

Developed recommendations to enhance programme coherence, measurability, risk-informed programming, and linkages between humanitarian and development interventions.
