Assessed project performance against the 2021 baseline to evaluate outcomes and impacts on smallholder livelihoods
The project evaluated the Sustainable Energy for Smallholder Farmers in Africa (SEFFA) initiative, implemented across Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda under the Energising Development (EnDev) programme. The assignment assessed the impact of renewable energy solutions on smallholder livelihoods and generated evidence to inform future productive-use-of-energy interventions across the dairy and horticultural value chains.
Assessed project performance against the 2021 baseline to evaluate outcomes and impacts on smallholder livelihoods
Evaluated the effectiveness of renewable energy technologies and business models, including irrigation, cooling, drying, and renewable energy hubs.
Disseminated evaluation findings to the SEFFA project team, the IKEA Foundation, the wider EnDev partnership, and other development stakeholders to inform future programming.
